Fire officers used water cannons to fight the flowing molten glass from three angles to prevent burning. Other fire brigade cooled down the furnace from the second floor to prevent the molten glass flowing out”.”
According to the workers introduction, when feeding port firebrick corrosion was cracking, furnace mouth like a dam burst, high-temperature glass melt spread in less than five minutes that resulted in a fire, but fortunately no casualties. After fighting by the fire brigade for minutes, the glass melt was cooled finally.
